Rabbi Dr. Aaron Glatt endorses convalescent COVID-19 plasma

Rabbi Dr. Aaron Glatt, MD, FACP, FIDSA, FSHEA, has issued a video endorsing donating plasma for convalescent plasma therapy. Rabbi Dr. Glatt is the Chairman, Department of Medicine as well as the Chief of Infectious Diseases and Hospital Epidemiologist at Mount Sinai South Nassau. He states that, "convalescent plasma therapy is a promising albeit unproven form of treatment for COVID-19. It requires a person who has recovered from COVID-19 to donate their serum to possibly save another person’s life. Please consider getting tested and becoming a donor and perform[ing] one of the greatest acts of kindness that a person can do."
